The beauty pageant Miss Congo 2016 took place on Saturday, 15th of Octobre 2016, at the Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya 5* of Brazzaville. The 19th edition of the pageant was organized by the Committee Miss Congo (COMICO, under the supervision of its President Pupuce IBATA NGALLA-MOUETOUKOUENDA), under the auspices of Minister for Culture & Arts, Léonidas Carel MOTTOM MAMONI.
The judging panel of the beauty pageant was chaired by Alexandre BECHER, Director of Public Relations & Arts of the hotel, and featured for the first time two former winners of the pageant: Miss Congo 2001, Henretty NDINGHA, and Miss Congo 2006, Blanda EBOUNDIT.
Pefaco Hotel Maya Maya 5* offered Miss Congo 2016 a week-end of two nights for two people, including breakfast and dinner, a honeycomb bathrobe and a one-year free access to the swimming-pool of the hotel, as well as to the fitness center. The hotel also offered the two Runners-up a week-end of one night for two people, including breakfast and dinner.

Destinée MBAMA EGNANGA was crowned Miss Congo 2016, she’s 18 years old, 1.68m tall and first-year-student in Human Resources ; 1st Runner-up, Carus MEHEILLE AHOUE, 20 years old, 1.71m tall and third-year-student in Business Management & Human Resources (Miss Brazza 2016) ; 2nd Runner-up, Djanny MPAKOU, 21 years old, 1,69m tall second-year-student in Business Management ; Miss Elegance, Claude REINE NGAKO, fisrt-year-student in Banking & Finance ; Miss Charm, Rosy MALEKA MOUKO, 24 years old, 1,66m tall, Managing a hostess agency.
